Why Jerusalem?

Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, is a city of diversity. One of the intriguing changes taking place in Jerusalem in recent years is linked to the presence of students in the city. The Festival of Lights and Sounds of the Old City events are only part of what makes Jerusalem unique. Mahane Yehuda market, Nahlaot, and Rehavia are brimming with energy and the magic of a college experience in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is a mixed city, in that you will find living in it members of Jewish, Christian, Moslem and other persuasions. If an encounter with the present and future of Israel sparks your interest, Jerusalem is where you can find the whole spectrum of Israeli society and culture, particularly in the Jerusalem educational system. Jerusalem’s history and culture are accessible to the inquisitive mind also outside the campus, for example at the Israel Museum and in the National Library collections. Public transport, including a light rail service, covers the entire city and is available to students.
