Oded Zipory is a lecturer at the Seymour Fox School of Education, Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He specializes in educational philosophy and theory. His major areas of research and teaching are philosophy of education, political philosophy, intellectual history, and critical pedagogy. Zipory's current research projects examine (1) the scientific discourse concerning intellectual hierarchies and (2) the relationship between hope, despair, and education.  

עודד צפורי הוא מרצה בבית הספר לחינוך ע"ש שלמה (סימור) פוקס באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. ההוראה והמחקר שלו עוסקים בפילוסופיה של החינוך, היסטוריה אינטלקטואלית, פילוסופיה פוליטית, היסטוריה אינטלקטואלית,  פדגוגיה ביקורתית. מחקרם הנוכחיים של ד"ר צפורי בוחנים את השיח המדעי אודות אי-שוויון אינטלקטואלי והקשר בין תקווה, ייאוש וחינוך.
