My goal as a mathematics education researcher is to design and study novel learning environments maximizing teachers' and students' tacit resources. Our research group is establishing. We plan to explore inquiry as a way of learning and teaching mathematics and as a way to enhance practitioners’ proficiency. We strive to leverage current development of technology to design new multimodal mathematical experience for students’ and new ways to study learning of mathematics.
In particular, I am interested in the influence of physical movement and creation of material and virtual artifacts on learning and teaching in a context of school geometry.
