My fields of research are Philosophy of Halakhah (Jewish Law), modern Jewish thought, the relationship between philosophy and political–sociological dimensions in Jewish thought and the philosophy of Jewish Education as philosophical tools for the all my other fields of research. I wrote about these deep connections in my book, Halakhah as an Agent of Change (Magnes Press 2009). I pointed to the value of comparing educational and halakhic philosophy in order to understand socio-cultural tendencies in Jewish streams in modern Jewish life.
