Students who take these courses as part of their Cornerstone requirements are exempt from taking them in their teaching certificate program and will not be required to take additional courses in their place.

Program structure

Studies in the Department of Teaching combine supervised teaching with courses in education, educational research literacy, pedagogy, and teaching methods.

You must also participate in an internship workshop. Once you pass your year of internship, the Ministry of Education will grant you a teaching license. Your teaching internship is under Ministry of Education jurisdiction, and it is the Ministry of Education that decides on it components and terms. An internship workshop is offered by the department of professional development at the School of Education.https://education.huji.ac.il/applicants_teacher_training_stage
