ADHD and Decision Science Lab

Prof. Yehuda Pollak

The study focuses on the mental processes and environmental contexts underlying decision-making in children and adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Using a conceptual framework of decision theory, we study and analyze different types of suboptimal decision-making common in ADHD, such as risky behavior and procrastination, and examine variables that explain the relationship. We use laboratory decision-making tasks and real-life situations to test different hypotheses.
