Ori Eyal, is Chair of the Graduate Division of Policy, Administration, and Leadership in Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is a research fellow at the Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change. Eyal’s research focuses on the emergence of unsolicited innovation in education. His growing interest in the emergence of unsolicited innovation has led him to study school entrepreneurship, educational champions, cross-sector alliances in the field of education, educational leadership, distributed leadership, and ethical judgments of school principals. Recently he has been awarded the Spencer fellowship for conducting a study on sense making of accountability in early childhood education.

פרופ' אורי איל הוא ראש התוכנית למנהל, מדיניות ומנהיגות בחינוך באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים ועמית מחקר במרכז האסייתי-פסיפי לחקר מנהיגות ושינוי. מחקרו של פורפ' איל מתמקד בחדשנות מלמטה בחינוך. תחומי המחקר העיקריים שלו הם: יזמות בית ספרית, צ'מפיונים חינוכיים, בריתות בין מגזריות בחינוך, מנהיגות בחינוך, מנהיגות מחולקת ואתיקה בניהול בתי ספר. לאחרונה זכה דר' איל במענק מקרן ספנסר למחקר הבודק את האופן שבו הלחצים לאחריותיות, שנקשרים ברפורמת אופק חדש, משפיעים על הפרקטיקות בגני ילדים.
