This concentration places great emphasis on research as a stepping stone in a student’s path of professional development and an indispensable part of professional practice. We encourage students to excel in research, scientific thinking, use of empirical instruments, in research ethic, and using evidence-based treatment.

Areas of research in this concentration explore developmental psychopathology, cognition and emotion, identity, parenting, trauma, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and more.

You are required to participate in one research seminar and write a research thesis under the supervision of a concentration lecturer.
