Terms of admission
Grades
You may apply if you hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education with a minimum grade of 80, or if you have a Council for Higher Education accredited undergraduate degree from an institution that is not identical to a university Bachelor of Arts degree (e.g. non-university BEd with a grade of 85).
Discipline of your undergraduate degree
Holders of a bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, social work, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and candidates in education-related occupations will be given precedence.
Committing to a schedule
You will be required to undertake a full program including one full day of study a week (Wednesdays). There will be two additional compulsory online courses during the semester break, each with two required-attendance sessions.
Personal interview
You may be asked to pass a personal interview. Late registrations are allowed by special approval.
How to apply
Register for university
If you studied in Israel, register online at the Hebrew University Admissions Office via the Hebrew University website. Please include all the documents described on the website.
Register at the School of Education
Create an account in the registration system, fill in your information, and upload your official transcripts (signed by the institution) that include your undergraduate average grade and certificate of eligibility for an undergraduate degree.
Candidates with a degree from abroad
If you have a degree from abroad please register at the International Students Admissions Office.
Please contact the counselors at the International Students Admissions Office for additional information.
We are unable to process applications from candidates who have not completed their registration on both platforms or are missing any of the required documents.
